Even if there was touching still, they could still talk. It was how their friendship started, after all. "There are places to go dancing in other towns," Victoria said, "Whenever you're ready to try that again." She'd gone with James, but there was a pretext there. Take her out to do what she wanted and let the hunting serve as a catalyst to the physical relationship he needed to maintain in order to fool everyone. Victoria didn't want to go dancing just to have a snack, and she didnt want to put Bayani into another situation like Miami. Miami had good memories and bad, and she knew it affected him profoundly. Victoria knew that Bayani feared hurting others, and she wanted to help him with that. First part of it was accepting that it was unavoidable at times. The second was knowing that risks were worth it.
"You did?" Victoria asked, "You sounded more like you were going to say something." A kiss did say a lot though. She shifted against his fingers as he slowly started to build her again. This time there wasnt the urgency though, and she enjoyed his touch for what it did. Victoria took Bayani's hand from her breast and brought it to rest on her cheek again. She closed her eyes and kissed his palm.
Then she placed a kiss on his wrist and slid her hand down his arm. Victoria's eyes fluttered open, looking down at Bayani and whispering, "It's good to see you smile, you know. Not just that smirk or grin, but smile." It came at times, though Bayani wore a frown or a flat expression most of the time. She understood it didn't mean he wasnt happy, but it was nice to see how different he looked when he wore a smile.
This was something like pillow talk but not quite there. When Victoria first had sex, it was with a boy much older than her. She was fourteen and looked in her twenties. She didn't tell him her age, though he might have guessed it from how inexperienced she'd been. After that, she learned that the sex itself was always enjoyable, but she liked what came after. Sometimes it led to more sex and other times it was just talking.
