Ellie was confused more than anything by what that spell had done. Not because of Fred. Hardly! That poetry had been beautiful, and the gesture with the illusion of Scotland...nobody had ever done anything like that for her. Yes, it had been a spell, but Ellie was curious to learn if Fred really was like that under the gruff exterior or if that spell had created more than just the emotions. The chance to possibly find out had been grabbed at, and away from the school Ellie felt maybe they both could be more open. No other students around with nosy smartphones and taunts.
It was still kind of chilly so she wasn't able to wear the lighter clothing Kana had been making for her. She settled for a sweater over a knee length skirt, leggings and boots. The skirt flared a little when she turned at the sound of Fred's voice and her smile lifted.
