"Just making it clear," he grumbled, relaxing into Sorin's touch and presence. He didn't expect this was a possibility for them, but it did all seem to fit together well. Bayani was trying not to question it. This relief was necessary to keep him sane at the moment. So he let Sorin touch him and he didn't feel the need to immediately pull back, and he was content with that. "My solution to putting you in danger worked out well for us. I figured if you fucked me in that position, I wouldn't want to bite you. I didn't expect you to be so damn good at taking me." Bay smirked at that, having never seen Sorin as aggressive enough to take over. It was a wonderful surprise.
Bay snorted when Sorin started to tease him and gave him a withering look, although they were partially under the covers so he couldn't really see it. So he pinched Sorin on the ass as a playful warning. "You're lucky you're cute and give really good blow jobs or I would be so irritated at you right now." His tone was dry and he tried to force a scowl, but it turned into a smile against his better judgment. It didn't feel that bad now that he'd done it. He told someone about his thoughts of her, and it wasn't terrifying.
But that was the heart of it, and he knew it. Sorin knew it. "I think she'd want it to be just us, and I respect that. She should get what she wants. I think I could do it, if I had to." Bayani was aware of Victoria's relationship with James and that she was serious with him. It made sense to assume that was what she would want of someone else, and she hadn't taken him up on casual sex. But if they had sex now, it wouldn't be casual, he knew that much. Bay frowned and let his fingers trail slowly from Sorin's hair down his back. He knew the scars there now like the back of his hand. "I'm still a mess, I'm not sure I'd be good in a relationship, I can't get my head on straight. I want to be better for her, she's so classy, you know? I don't want to give her less than she deserves." He didn't want to be another man who let her down, whether she'd call what happened to James that or not.
But then, an important bit. "And I'm not sure I'm ready to give you up, Sorin." That was the truth in a nutshell, that was what this entire night meant. His feelings for her were intense and true, but he wouldn't have this anymore.
