"I don't-- I don't know." Leon stepped inside slowly, drawn to the Banshee. He'd never noticed before how deep Jack's eyes went. It was like seeing into the past, seeing a hundred lives all aligning and coming to this moment. Leon tore his gaze away and looked down at the folder he carried. "Oh, do you mean this?"
This made absolutely no sense, and yet it was the only thing in the world Leon was sure of. He loved Mr. Cavanaugh and the time between walking down the hall and arriving to this conclusion seemed like eons ago. He'd always loved Mr. Cavanaugh. Of course he had. How could he not?
Leon laid the folder that contained the information about the science program on Jack's desk with deliberately slow movements. Then just stood there, submerged in the feeling of his life suddenly making sense again.
He spoke again before Jack could. "What are we going to do?"
