Kaden chuckled at the endearing way Kane smiled. The demon was mistaking what type of football they played for American, but that was alright. Kaden didn't see the need to correct him and tell him it was soccer. Not with euphemisms like that. Kaden had been a teacher for a couple years now and he had been hit on a lot. Some cases were more serious than others, like the case of Claire mistaking everything he said out of concern for her as a declaration of love, but for the most part, those crushes were harmless.
This didn't feel harmless at all. In fact, Kaden was pretty sure he'd have to resign if the way he felt in his heart was going to continue making it pound like this every time Kane smiled. He couldn't explain it, but he wanted to do whatever it took to keep that smile on Kane's face.
"I could arrange for some... private lessons. It's late in the season, so you'll need a lot of one on one attention to catch up with the rest of the team." Kaden hung the rope on its hook and crossed his arms over his chest. It wasn't meant to be intimidating, but more to keep his hands to himself. Everything about Kane smelled delicious. His voice was like velvet. Kaden nodded. "We could start this afternoon."
