The Hunt: Davian & Victoria & OPEN
Davian saying she had a soul should've made her feel better, but it didn't. Her soul was gone. Heaven, Hell, purgatory. Somewhere not here. Somewhere not with her. It was gone and she wasn't getting it back. Had a soul. Past tense. But she had accepted that. Sort of. It was still a bitter truth to swallow but one that she knew would take some time to fully understand. She was already questioning the existence of God. But that was a new development and something she'd struggle with later. Perhaps a question for Mr. Kaden or Mr. Cavanaugh.
If Ambriel was smart, he'd listen to Davian long enough to realize that Victoria's soul had left. Once upon a time she thought he was the fountain of absolute truth. Before she could say something, Davian was screaming at someone or something. Victoria would turn her head to look, but she couldn't move her head. She had to hope it wasn't Kitsune because chances were they would just leave her there. HEr best bet? Ladon or Pegasus. Pegs were good about following rules. Ladons would help her.
She winced at the volume and then waited. Footsteps approached. Voices of Ladon students.
"What happened?" one asked and Victoria warned, "It's a web spell. Can you find some iron to break it?"
"Good thing I'm prepared," the Ladon said, "Just a sec."
