"Yeah," Garret said, his attention drawn elsewhere.
"Yeah, uh huh," he said, not really sure what Craig was being so tense about. They could both go into the circle and have fun and maybe fun with each other and it would still be such a pleasant hum in their minds and bodies and -
Garret sat up quickly exhaling the the pat. He leaned in, giving Craig a peck on the side of his mouth. "Let's find eighteen pebbles and go away. This circle is too good. I don't want to lose you, or me, in it. Any pebble within six steps will be good, let's go." The circle began to scare Garret and he didn't like that. Standing up, he yanked Craig up with him.
"Don't go away," Garret said softly, hugging Craig to his body. He puled away and gripped Craig's hand, nails digging in, unforgiving. "Ninety seconds and then we should get back to the group."
