Leon & Paxton & OPEN
There was almost a clicking sound: Paxton had to switch gears. Demons didn't murder and tell, even when it was in their best interest. Demons kept it all in the family. It was partly why Davian's betrayal had left so many people hating his little brother. He had broken one of their codes.
"Well, let's see," Paxton said, "Davian could be seduced by his best friend, Ambriel could say the wrong name at the altar, Davian could be seized by commitment issues, Ambriel could fall on his head an lose his memory, there could be a hilarious mix-up involving 27 dresses and a Ford Twingo, a pidgeon could steal the rings, or one of the grooms has doubts during the rehearsal dinner and can't reach the other one to talk about it so he turns tail and leaves, leading to a spectacular break-up on fifth avenue." Paxton had been counting on his fingers, trying to find as many movie plots as he could. "Did I get them all?"
