Thread: Birthday Cave Explorations!
WHO: Thierry Gravois and Sara Martin
WHEN: Feb. 29, dusk/evening
WHERE: Near the beach
Thierry met up with Sara outside of Pegasus dorms. The two came to the edge of the woods before stripping down as they would normally do on a full moon. Nudity was not a big deal for weres. It was part of who they were. If you were a were and shy about being naked, you hadn't been a were for very long. The clothing he wore easily stripped off, and considering it was warmer than usual for Maine this time of year, he wasn't wearing the extra layer. This temperature was about the same, if barely warmer, than what he usually experienced in Louisiana this time of year. Once the fur came out though, everything felt right and he was following Sara's lead as she guided him to the cave. It was only once every four years that Thierry really got to celebrate his birthday on the exact date. Something about that made it extra special and he was grateful for the kindness and kind gestures that people showed to him. The wolves from his own pack had made him some jambalaya, and then there were the snacks and gifts from others. He was looking forward to drinking that bottle of bourbon whenever he and Sara got back. For now they raced through the woods as they hurried to what the cave would be and Thierry was curious about what it might hold. Sara wasn't like a lot of the other girls who probably would've used the cave in reference to a physical place and an invitation for him to explore their cave. This was innocent of that and he had no expectations of that. As they came onto the beach, the ocean roared nearby and his paws now moved over sand and pebbles on the each. It was empty except for some sea fowl and they flapped away as soon as Thierry and Sara drew closer. The large gray wolf and the smaller white fox were known predators and Thierry's own animal instincts felt the temptation to try to catch one. But over the last year at St. Margaret's, Thierry had grown to be more comfortable with that wolf in him and rein it back as needed. Other times it was wiser to let the wolf take the wheel. When they got to the entrance of the cave itself, Thierry shifted back. The cool ocean wind caressed over his back causing him to shiver only briefly before he shook his head to get rid of that feeling. He let out a low whistle as he walked closer to the cave's entrance, "What have we here?" Peering in, he could hear the live dwelling inside along with the dripping of water inside that provided the necessary life for whatever dwelt within. "You keep 'dis place a secret to yo'self?" he asked, looking at Sara with a grin. |
