Bayani & Victoria
"This year and last. Last year Sr. Kaden asked me to help. I agreed and this year I beat him to the punch," Victoria said with a smirk, "It wasn't so bad last year, so I didn't mind taking it over again. It's kept me busy." She had latched onto the Polar Bear Dive after the election because it kept her busy. Not that hanging out with Leon or Bayani was meant for distraction. She and Leon had become close friends over the time they knew each other and Bayani had earned a place as a good friend as well. They had both been a support more than any sort of distraction.
She nodded to his response but had a feeling the intimidating factor probably played a larger role. Bayani was still new. Adding friends to the ones he already had and possibly enemies to that list, but she hoped that wasn't the case. "No, not at all. After a while maybe, but I've swam in this lake plenty of times. And I would've jumped too." Victoria smirked at Bayani. She had been nominated though. Numerous times. But she didn't want to jump on Davian's dime or anyone else's who thought she was some prissy rich girl who didn't want to jump in the lake. Some nights she snuck out into the forest and swam in the lake on her own. The chlorine in the pool was unbearable and she couldn't just walk out of the water and hunt while at the school.
People were wrong about her when it came to a lot of things but she was also wrong about people. James had returned her to some bad habits. Like being pretty selective about her company or going clubbing instead of trying to figure out who she was now as a vampire since she was no longer human. Victoria tucked her hand behind her ear and said, "I might come back later and jump after everyone is gone. You want to join me?"
