Kane and Ellie
Proud of her heritage and origins, Ellie beamed a smile with her chin lifted. "Aye. Even after bein' gone fer years it stuck." Her nose wrinkled as her smile became a little sheepish. "I'm told it gets worse the more emotional I get." Or when she'd been drinking. Ahem.
As for how warm she made things during bedroom antics she'd have to ask Dana or Sorin. It hadn't ever been a concern.
Her chin sunk into her hand as she giggled. "You must hate it here, then."
His question got a big reaction from her. Ellie was so used to people at the school knowing her history that it took her by surprise. She visibly paled as her she straightened in her chair. Hazel eyes went wide, faintly stained lips parted and she felt as if her blood had turned to ice. It took a moment for her to realize that he was so new there was no possible way for him to know.
"No," she said in a voice haunted by her past. "I havena seen me family since I was a wee lass." She was right about her accent getting thicker under the influence of her emotions. "I uh...was captive in a dreadful place. Only been here jest under a year."
