WHO: Micah & Elle. WHERE: Around the town. WHEN: Friday evening. WHAT: Walking and chatting.
Elle had settled into her new life at St Margaret’s much easier than she’d anticipated. She enjoyed her students immensely and found herself pushing them and herself with her lessons each week. She managed her first full moon without any incidents. She was easily making friends among the staff. And being surrounded by the supernatural day in and day out made her transition away from her old life simpler than expected. In a word, Elle was comfortable. Which was nice. It had been a long time since she’d really felt that way. But now that she was, her next goal was to find a little more balance in her personal and professional life. It was more difficult now that she was living on campus. But not impossible. She needed to spend a little more time away from the school and her students and focus on the things she loved as well. So with the arrival of the weekend, she’d happily seized the opportunity to meet up with Micah for dinner and a relaxing evening away from the school.
They’d eaten their fill at dinner together, which was saying something. The two were metabolisms meant that they could put away quite a bit more than the average diner. The conversation had been easy and amusing as the old friends swapped stories and made each other laugh. After their plates had been cleared away and the bill had been paid, Elle found she wasn’t quite ready to head back yet. So she’d turned large brown eyes and playfully fluttering eyelashes on Micah to sway him into taking a walk around town with her.
