She giggled at him and his amusing ways. What was the word one of her friend liked to use about guys like him? Adorkable? She kind of wished things were different, and hoped soon they would be. The problem was she still didn't have control of her power enough to even study an image longer much less not go into a short catatonic state while her body seized.
"I know this is gonna sound generic," she informed him with a crooked smile, "But it's the truth. It isn't because of you." She sighed since she knew how horrible that sounded. Only people breaking up and trying to spare feelings said things like that. "It's me," her head was tilted down as she looked at him now, "Or more to the point my ability."
"Ever since I discovered it, anytime I touch someone I apparently begin seizing and drop to the floor," she explained, "I see images in the past connected to the person." She sighed again, "I just didn't think you would want to go out with someone who couldn't even hold your hand." She knew it would have been hard for her. Especially if it got to a point where they would want to kiss.
