"Maybe a little one," Dana said and eased into Leon, happy to have him close. Even if his body lacked the warmth she emanated, it didn't really matter much to her. Leaning back against him, she half-climbed to sit on his lap and settled, her legs dangling over his. Dana reached up to touch over Leon's cheek and then scratch a little at the unruly black hair that Leon fidgeted with for as long as she'd known him. She heard he used to have dreadlocks and she wondered what he looked like with them, but figured if he wanted them back, he would have started growing them again.
Her fingers traced over the tattoos on his forearms, nails toughing lightly and barely there. She was quiet for a moment, enjoying the closeness for what it was before she commented, "I like being with you. You see the world differently from other people." Leon stuck out compared to a lot of her friends, but that didn't mean she didn't love them any less. She felt particularly close to Sorin, as they were often in each other's company, but Leon's perspective of the world around him was both world-weary and wise. Even if he became a vampire only the year before, he felt much older.
"Sometimes I miss Poland," she said entwining his fingers with hers and moving her other hand down the side of his face, "but if I stayed there, I wouldn't be here. I wouldn't have met you." Dana turned her head, placing another kiss on Leon, but this time on the corner of his jaw.
