Kaden realized, when the wolves arrived, that their digging would only cause the rocks to collapse further. They would need something more powerful, magic maybe. Or something stronger. Kaden refused to think that he'd need to call the dragon over, and doubted he'd even be able to summon Ashton. The black giant was probably brooding in his lair on the cliffs, glowering at the weres like usual.
Sara had arrived and inched up to Kaden's nose, sniffing and whining with concern, and Kaden snorted at her. She scurried away, paw lifted and nose twitching. She looked to Thierry for what to do, since he was there taking charge, and when he signaled that they'd just wait, she settled on her rump, bushy tail curling around her paws.
Kaden grumbled. It was becoming clear that they'd have to go get a member of staff in the morning to help him out of this predicament. Kaden only hoped it wasn't Jack, Dallas, or Cressida who came to his aid.
