Thread: ¡Feliz cumpleaños, Daniela!
WHO: The Vazquezes
WHEN: Nov. 18, evening
WHERE: Montrose
NPCs: Random staff
So this was the first time that Victoria and Daniela were going to be somewhere together without anyone else around. Granted, it was at Montrose and there were people there, it was still quiet and private enough to leave them without an audience or paper-thin walls for idiot demons to listen through. Montrose was also a nice sort of place that meant dressing up nicely, so Victoria dressed nice for the occasion. It wasn't every day her sister turned fifteen. There was still guilt tied with this dinner together, but she just wanted it to be them. For it to be normal. But was it ever really normal? Victoria and Daniela weren't as thick as thieves as Romina and Victoria had been, but there had never been any doubt that they did love each other. For the Vazquez family, family was everything, and apparently when one died, they could never recover. But Victoria was sure that somehow, someway, things would work out. But since Daniela now knew that Victoria was, in fact, not dead (anymore), it complicated things. Tonight, she hoped, would be less about Victoria choosing to become a vampire and Daniela going down the path of necromancy, and more about remembering that they were family. Family celebrated birthdays together. The two arrived and were guided to a comfortable table tucked away for the two of them. Victoria knew the menu here well enough to know what to order to fit her food needs. Daniela would be allowed to order whatever she wanted from the menu, within reason, and Victoria said, "I can get us some wine if you want." Because what was the point of being able to wear make-up and look older as well as being a vampire without being able to see if you could bend some rules. |
