Ladon Bonfire: Leon & Victoria & OPEN
"Eventually," Victoria said with a soft laugh, "But that desire to live meant I would live to see her get herself into a mess." And what a mess it was. Daniela's dealings with the dead in order to revive Victoria went against everything they grew up knowing, but Victoria couldn't even fault her sister much for that. Victoria became an abomination in her own way because she couldn't accept death.
The hug, as slowly as it came, was appreciated. Victoria was willing to let go of the pain of previous arguments because in the end, Leon was her friend. She cared about him and she knew it would never be a perfect friendship. The closest she'd ever gotten to that perfect friendship was achieved with Romina who was now her sire. The fact that Victoria and Leon were still able to find that friendship despite how different they were and how far apart they seemed was nothing short of a miracle.
She allowed him to hug her for a moment and she returned her. They were both cold but neither would feel it. Victoria wasn't crying or anything either, but just enjoying the gesture that she knew wasn't typical of Leon. "Thank you," she said softly.
