Just Away from the Bonfire: Ellie & Rider & Kaden
Usually Rider was good at keeping an eye for teachers. He liked to make himself scarce when he was breaking the rules, to avoid the punishment that always came along with such endeavors. However, this time he’d been so focused on making Ellie laugh while they danced that Mr K’s appearance had caught him unawares. Shit he thought to himself when he realized his head of house knew they’d been drinking.
“Hey, Mr K,” he kept his voice light, but not flippantly so. “Stealing a dance with the prettiest girl here? Had to try to get away with it. Can you blame me?”
He knew they were busted, but if he was going to get punished, he wanted to at least try to lighten the mood a little. He honestly really liked Mr Kaden and didn’t like seeing him looking to grumpy. “It was me,” he conceded with a sheepish smile. “You should punish me, not Ellie.”
