And there he went making sure that blush stayed right where it was on her cheeks. He was far too good for her, in Ellie's opinion. Why he bothered being around her, flirting with her like he did, was beyond her ken, but she definitely was not complaining.
She tried not to look too conspicuous while the drinks got poured and mixed, her lower lip caught between her teeth. She was new at this breaking rules thing, and would swear that everyone in authority knew what she was up to. Ellie just tried to smile and look natural.
She beamed Rider a smile as she took her cup. "SlĂ inte!" she chirped then took a sip. Just a wee sip. She was smart enough to know not to overdo it or she'd definitely give herself and the rest of them away.
"Aren't ya cold?" It was the first thing that just spilled out of her mouth. Ellie realized it sounded silly, obvious and dumb so now the pink in her cheeks was because she wanted to crawl in a hole and pull a rock over her head.
