The Library: Sorin & Ellie
"A new book," Sorin noted. He'd remember that and share it with the others. They all knew how much Ellie liked to read, though not all of them knew her particular taste in romance novels specifically. He nodded and looked at her when she turned the question back on him.
"I..." what would he want? If he could have anything, anything at all, of course he would want to be strong enough to go back and free their friends from the castle like he promised he would. Then he'd want to find his family, the gypsies having gone who knew where by now. Maybe they weren't even a group anymore. Things had changed in the world in the time that Sorin had been a prisoner in the asylum.
He blinked. "Tarot cards, maybe. I think I could summon them." Focusing on his magic, his power to call out powerful beings, it was a means to the end to get what he really wanted. The thing no one could give him, but he had to go out and take. Sorin wasn't naturally inclined to crave vengeance, but those doctors and nurses, those priests and hunters, they deserved what was coming to them. He'd see one of his summonings tear down the castle walls one day.
