Outside the Bonfire: Dana & Kaden
Kaden interpreted her surprise and panic to be a sign of her being guilty for the moment, and he took the cup from her with a deep frown. Bringing the glass to his nose to make a deliberate show of smelling what was inside, not that he needed to be that close to smell it, Kaden sniffed and fixed his dark colored eyes on her with disapproval.
"What's the rule on drinking alcohol on campus?" he asked her, pointing at the cup in his hand. Someone nearby snickered behind their hand and Kaden transferred his growl to them. "You're up next, Rodriguez! I saw you pour yours into the bushes!" The student shut his mouth with an audible click.
Kaden looked back at Dana. "No alcohol is allowed to be consumed or even in the possession of students on campus. Period! Who gave it to you? Where did you get it from?" Kaden at least knew enough to be able to say that Dana hadn't brought it there herself, that she hadn't been the one enabling the drinking of others, and that someone had given it to her. That was the worrying part. Dana was nice enough, naive enough, and free enough with her affections that she wouldn't think to refuse something like a drink.
Kaden didn't even know if nymphs could get drunk or be influenced by strong alcohol if consumed, but she needed to learn the rules and learn to say no, even if he had to come down on her hard.
