The Library: Sorin & Ellie
Sorin shivered a little too. Her description was pretty fitting, and it reminded him of the voice he thought he'd hear when he was down in the dungeons of Anton castle for experimentation. Many children had died down there and the talk among the survivors was that their ghosts still haunted it, crying for it to stop. He blinked and tried to steer his thoughts away from it. They weren't stuck there anymore. They were free.
And one day, soon, they would go back for their friends and free them all.
Charmed pink ponies was a much more enjoyable thing to linger their thoughts on and Sorin grinned at the thought. He actually wanted to see if it could be done, now, and tried to hide his contemplative look from Ellie. Maybe she'd just get a surprise the next time she was visiting the stables.
Sorin transferred his arm from linked with hers to wrapping around her shoulders. He pulled her against his thin side for comfort. Sorin may be skinny, but he was warm. "I'm sure they never gave up hope, Ellie. Family never gives up hope." He gave her a soft smile. "And when you have your fire under control, you'll be able to return to them and how sweet a day will that be?"
