The Courtyard: Alex, Ashton, & OPEN
Alex knew he was asking for trouble, but this wasn't one of those things he really thought through beforehand. It was likely the influence of marijuana and a bit of an ego that contributed to his costume that involved dressing up in a costume that made him look like a dragon. It was a pretty expensive costume, to be honest, and was a bitch to wear. But it was worth it. That's what Alex kept telling himself. He wasn't sure if Ashton even saw him yet, but he was sure the dragon would have something to say.
He didn't notice Ashton just yet but a couple of students were asking after his costume. Alex stood up a little taller and said loudly, "This isn't a costume! How dare you ask what a ridiculous question! Now bring me some gold! Where is my witch!?" It was loud and pretty obnoxious, but a few students were picking up on who exactly Alex dressed as. He wasn't just any ol' dragon but one in particular. Alex made sure to use the word "ridiculous" a lot. Some people still didn't get it though.
As he moved across the courtyard, he saw Ashton. The dragon in boy's skin was staring at him and Alex didn't stop walking toward him. Instead, he drew closer and came to stand in front of Ashton. The head of the costume bobbed a little and Alex waved the costume arm's that were shaped like claws.
