Ashton didn't believe her. He huffed out his nose, a hot stream of air that was laced with the scent of brimstone blowing across the cobblestone. "I do not like being spied on." He articulated sharply as his head snaked down, arrowing in on Caitlin. Scaly lips pulled back to show rows of his teeth with the words. Ashton had no trouble speaking in his dragon form and his accent was the same that he had when he was in human form. It was subtle, considering Ashton was a collector of languages like he was a hoarder of gold, but it was there.
"I could eat you in one bite," Ashton informed her in a matter-of-fact way, almost nonchalant about the idea. His narrowed silver eyes opened more as his nose came closer to where she was standing. "You would still be alive as you went down my throat, only to meet your demise in the fire of my belly." Ashton snorted hard enough to blow Caitlin's hair back from her face and flatten her clothes against her frame. "But vampires do not taste good."
He turned away and his scales scraped on the stones again, obsidian talons leaving marks on them as he walked. "Begone."
