Last year's success had caused Thérèse to think about one of the other reasons she had chosen to join the teaching staff at St. Margaret's, and that was to try her hand at writing some plays to try out. She had gotten distracted many times and for many good reasons, but now that her life was a bit calmer again perhaps she should return to that idea. The first production would be a winter production, so she was working on something with that theme in mind, and as with most of her stories this one would likely star a fairy as the protagonist. "Write what you know," the words of her old teacher rang in her head. It was a good way to start things out after all. If you weren't entirely sure what to work on, but you know you just want to write, begin with something that you know; therefore, this story began with a little fairy child being taken to the home of a sweet older couple on a cold December night.
As she immersed herself in the world of her creation her thin forest green skirt billowed in the wind. She was being sure to dress a bit more appropriately as of late since more students were returning, and she didn't want to have to worry about any awkwardness caused by her. She still had the whimsical look about her of course with her off white blouse featuring a flowery scene, but it was definitely not her honeymoon wardrobe anymore.
After a while of writing in the notebook she had brought with her, she sighed and set her notebook to rest next to her while she stretched her hand a bit. She looked over the school with a smile gracing her face as she found she was beginning to look forward to the new year. It had been two years since her first class, and she was so incredibly nervous about it, but now she simply looked forward to it. She knew that Dallas would likely be having a bit of a hard time since he would have an uphill struggle to regain the trust he had lost last year, and she would support him the whole time; however, she was still just anxious to see all of the new children as well as the return of the regular students.
