Teddy snorted, "Don't ever leave it to me," he said, "I'm never going to be strong enough to handle something like that on my own. I'd just get eaten or whatever and that wouldn't be any good." He flattened his hair after she'd tousled it, trying to make the strands sit flat again after having been messed up and he chewed the inside of his lip. He thought that maybe it would be good to be powerful, but magic was difficult and hard and he didn't like that he wasn't good at it yet. "I think it left me alone because I'm not strong enough or whatever for whatever it wanted."
Though a few more lessons with Leon and that might change, right?
"I just wanna be able to help my brother, and my friend Felix. That's all I want to be able to do. Anything else I guess would just be a handy bonus after that. But that's sorta the main goal. At the moment." He rubbed the back of his neck. "But like you, I gotta be patient."
