"Princess and the Frog?" Blinking, Leon tried to recall what Teddy was referring to, and then laughed as it came to mind. His laugh was rare and short lived, but it was genuine and not cruel, touching hazel eyes. "No, I doubt Disney got Voodoo right." But it was an admission that that was his magic, vodoun being his craft. Glancing again at the boy's hands, Leon shifted in his seat a bit, still unsure what the purpose was for that. Nervousness? Or some kind of spell? It was hard to tell.
"Well, you know, Teddy," Leon began, hesitant, his gaze dropping to the table in front of him and the apple upon it briefly as he was reluctant to point this out for fear that Teddy was sensitive and might take offense. "Part of trying hard is sometimes getting it wrong and making a mess of things. It's impossible to do it right and perfect every time, especially if you've never done it before."
