Proper magic? Now that was a phrase that made Leon smile a little, causing the piercing in his lower lip to move with the action. The voodooist didn't know any proper ways of doing magic.
"Afraid?" He laid his hands flat on the table, then pulled them back to lean forward, resting elbows on his thighs out of sight. Observing, he noticed the hearing enhancement that Teddy wore in his ears. It made his curiosity rise, of course, wondering if it was from an accident or if Teddy had been born with a hearing deficiency. Perhaps a part of his fear of using his magic was to blame. Practicing magic was dangerous at times, and could cause accidents like hearing loss, depending on the spell. It could explain it. But Leon didn't ask. As usual, he kept his musings to himself.
"I'm a witch, you could say." Giving a shrug, Leon looked down at the table, then over at his drawing which was the start of a half lidded eye. "It's alright. Most of what people say is probably true." True in one form or another, anyway. Leon had long ago grown tired of trying to keep the record straight. People would believe what they believed and if it brought more gossip, the better it was.
