Teddy, too, had a habit of heading into the cafeteria at the end of the school day. It was usually too crowded for him at lunch and he avoided it like the plague because there was too much noise for him to handle so he ate lunch somewhere else and then came back at the end of the day to get a little something else if he was hungry or just to study in peace. Most people had better things to do than hang out in the cafeteria and he here at least he was safe from being jostled by bags and other people because he was small and easily knocked off balance.
He looked up when someone sat at the table opposite him and he tilted his head, not sure he knew who the guy was outside of maybe a few classes they shared? To be honest, Teddy had been so busy keeping to himself that he didn't really know anyone at all aside from his brother and Felix. At least no one actually picked on him here so that was a nice change.
He watched the guy curiously for a few moments before he cleared his throat, figuring maybe he hadn't been seen - he was kind of easy to miss, something about how he carried himself, maybe - and offered a half wave and an awkward, shy smile.
