"Take your word for it," she replied knowing that she wasn't an expert on sirens anyways. She knew enough to recognize it, but seeing as no one died there was no reason to doubt the source. She leaned back in her chair and rested her legs on another chair at the table. Her eyes gazed into the siren's eyes. It was something she had done prior to even having the power she had, and now it seemed like more of a habit since it gave her an advantage that the other person wasn't fully aware of.
"Next time I'll make sure to sing Call me Maybe so that I can get some friends," she said with sarcasm in her voice. "Or I can just sing something I actually like since that's kind of the point of singing to begin with. Other people enjoying your music is just a bonus." Well that was deeper than her usual conversation talk.
