Winter: Dana and Lucia
Lucia put a comforting hand on Dana's cheek when the dryad came closer, seeing how startled she was by the idea of burning up in the fire. It was a fascinating thought, but all life was important, even if Lucia wanted to find out what burned dryad wood smelled like. Besides, the flame would ruin the flowers and then she wouldn't have their nectar or Dana to talk to in the woods.
"No. You see?" Lucia held her hand out, palm up, and used her ice powers to form an icy tree sculpture. "Fire cannot live if I put it out." The ice sculpture was passed to Dana and then Lucia cupped her other cheek, holding her face, drawing her close, clear crystal eyes looking intently into Dana's a few inches away. "I will protect you."
