Summer: Leon and Victoria
Hearing Victoria say that she and James had a lot in common caused Leon to shake his head in denial. No. She wasn't like James. How could he make her see without putting her and others he cared about at risk? Leon didn't put it beyond James' powers to make his life even more of a mess if he told her about the drug, the human blood and what they did after that, the telepathic images of Mickey, the manipulation that bled into every aspect of his associations with James. The way Leon was convinced James was trying to get Andrei under his thumb.
Leon took her hand off his cheek and held it in his own fingers, holding her gaze a moment longer before he broke it and nodded, looking down. "Alright. I'll give it a rest. Just promise me, Victoria," Leon looked at her again, lowering his voice once more. "Promise that you'll tell me if you notice anything... unusual about him. That you'll get out. Okay?"
