Summer — Niamh and Ashton
The dragon ignored the vegetables, going for another piece of chicken to bite into. Vegetables were for prey animals.
"Yes, I came with Barclay," Ashton said in a matter-of-fact way. His eyes sought out and found Barclay easily where he'd left the druid to get some food. Barclay didn't have the same metabolism that Ashton did, understandably, but Ashton still thought the thin witch should eat more. Maybe he'd convince him to try some of the chicken if there was any left by the time Ashton was finished.
"Did you dance?" Was his next question. That was the point of the evening, after all, Ashton thought. But it might be more challenging to dance if one didn't have a partner for that kind of thing. The custom must be followed to fully appreciate and understand the evening.
