Autumn: Jae and Davian
"See? You are fine," Jae said with a knowing smile at Davian and wanted to ask him if Paxton had said anything yet. If he had, Davian would be sure to tell her, but if he hadn't, well, Jae would do what she could to help. Though she doubted that was even possible. She and Paxton never really got along the way that she and Davian did. In fact, Paxton's occasional intrusion into Jae's life was just that: an intrusion. From messing with her the math problems on the board to illogical arguments about needing a date to an activity such as this, she had decided that she didn't really like Paxton much. But Davian trusted him and she would do what she could for Davian.
"Probably not," she said, "being here is pushing it already. If I go to the party the temptation would be too much." Jae was learning her limits and knew that she was already struggling a bit when it came to the formal. Being around humans and the sweet scent they gave off made her stomach grumble. Thankfully, she'd eaten plenty before coming to the dance and she could curb the hunger for now. If she'd had any less of a full stomach, she would be in the bathroom puking her guts out.
She then leaned in with a whisper, "Has Paxton said anything?" She had to know. Jae had to know and then maybe she could find a way to help.
