Autumn: Lilie and Mickey
"Well, promising for some," Lilie laughed, "And thanks. You look amazing as always, but I don't think you need people saying it. I think their stares are enough." She was teasing him back as they came to stand in the line. At the type of picture she wanted, she found herself in debate. They could do any number of things, but she found herself saying instead, "Just be you. We don't have to post for this and we're making a memory here."
The line was moving kind of fast, though sometimes stalled by people who were still trying to figure out how they wanted to post for the picture. She smiled, "So, I get that you and Mickey are back together—" as the kiss Leon placed upon Mickey made it very clear to many, "—but I would still like to hang out with you, just you, before the school year ends and I end up going to Germany."
Her family already bought the ticket and this summer would mark the end of a lot of things she didn't want to end, and the beginning of everything she tried really hard not thinking about during the school year. Even with the arrival of her betrothed.
