Ollie and Emily: Pulled outside of the party
Emily shut her eyes and clung to him enjoying the feel of him after so long being without it. Some of her own tears still leaked out. She hated that she hurt him. "Ollie, I know, I know, and I seem to always find myself in circumstances where I can get hurt. I think I'm just danger prone." She nuzzled his neck and breathed in deep reminding herself of his smell, his wonderful smell. "I just got angry because...I think I was preemptively trying to defend James. He's my friend and...I think I was just reminded of how I yelled at Evan over Christmas. He was worried about me and you. He knows about what you are and said it was dangerous for me to be involved with you. Sure you're a good guys but what if you slipped up. I screamed at him and he let it go. I think he still worries though. I think...I just was ready for something like that." She paused, "I want to assure you that James never hurt me and he never would. But...I won't let him anymore, I haven't and...he hasn't pushed."
Emily met his eyes and gave him another watery smile, "I will, I promise. There is some company you keep that does worry me though. But...that can wait until later." With that she let one of her hands go to his cheek and she reached up to press her lips against his.
