Ollie and Emily: Pulled outside of the party
"Ollie, I never wanted to hurt you, it had nothing to do with you or us it..." Emily pulled back and gave a sad little laugh, "this is going to sound really stupid." She took in a shaky breath, "You know how I've known James pretty much my whole life. Well, when he would feed on me his face would flush with color and he'd look more...alive and for a moment I could pretend...I could pretend that he was human again. That he was the James I grew up with." She lowered her head and nuzzled into his chest again, "I mean he's still him but...now that he's a vampire, there is a part of his life that I don't fit into anymore...and that breaks my heart."
"I felt the same with you when I first got here, you were a were, I wasn't. The only different is that you shared that side of yourself with me. You told me all your hopes and fears. You and I would talk out any difficulties you were having. And you let me see you in that form and still let me be close. That is why you were different. That is why I never felt like I lost my Ollie."
