It was all Barclay could do to keep the rabbits from bolting. They were... well, suggestive to his suggestions, but they were still rabbits. Prey animals. They wanted to run when danger presented itself, and to a rabbit, everything was danger. Even a human like Alex.
So Barclay needed something else.
It was an owl. The great horned owl. Territorial and slightly deranged. Perfect for this. Silently, it flew towards Alex. Barclay dared it to fly as close as it could, tapping into anger, instinct. Noise. The owl hooted loudly as it skimmed past Alex, and then turned around to charge at the blind blond kid again.
