When it came to stories about his family, Thierry had a billion but it was hard to choose just one. James was lucky that Thierry had stopped when he did. He could have finished the story that led to another story and another. It was just part of the fun of having a family and a semi-extended-family sort of thing that the nearby pack provided him.
Thierry had paused to let James react, but had not really finished the story. There was a still a portion to it, but James's response made it seem like the young, rich boy had thought he was done. "Well, I not quite done wit' 'de story, but if you gotta question, ami, go ahead and ask it." He was an amiable fellow and the sort to let something like a story about following a gator around the bayou looking for a pair of lost keys slip to the side. He could always tell James the conclusion of the story after.
