Once the final notes were passing through his lips, Caleb turned his attention back to Andrei, watching him warily. He was more concerned about the effect than the fact that Andrei was a vampire. The siren had to admit, though, it was likely the closest he'd ever gotten to enthralling the undead.
He shrugged his shoulders and smoothed down his shirt. "If I was in choir, I'd be all anyone would hear. I'd be the person they'd come to see. The singers in choir are great, and deserve to be heard. It's better this way, for everyone," Caleb surmised, clearing his throat.
