The way she described Fred's appearance caused the vampire to be glad there was no actual blood to go to her face, for she knew she would likely be red at this point. She had never had anyone simply sit and tell her she was beautiful. Her cousins had often said she was like an animal the way she sparred with them. Her other friends had basically said she was one of the guys; in fact, the only person to ever tell her she was pretty at all (aside from her mother and father that is) was Caitlin.
She sat there staring at the other girl not really knowing how to reply to being described in such a way. She looked at the guitar possibly seeking answers, attempted to think of something clever and sarcastic to say, looked back at the girl possibly in an attempt to return the compliment, but nothing came to her. She was literally at a loss for words. Maybe this was some trick. The demons hadn't messed with her in a while, but she had left them alone too. It was supposed to be a mutual you stay away from us we stay away from you thing, so would they actually want to change that? No. She could tell the girl was being genuine. "Why are you telling me this?" she asked though she had meant to say thank you.
