Winding Hallways: Sorin & OPEN
After everyone had rushed out of the dining hall to begin their search for the eggs hiding all around the Academy, Sorin split off from his witch friends to try his luck on his own. Not all the witches who came with him from the castle in Romania were set in Pegasus House, so it would be a conflicting interest to hunt together. Sorin was just glad the eggs weren't moving, which at once made them harder to find if they're hidden well enough and sometimes even harder to get to. But at least they didn't run from you, or run at you.
Sorin amused himself with thoughts of attacking killer eggs as he made his way down the hallways. He had to dodge out of the way of some over excited Standards who were determined to do their House proud by bringing in the biggest bounty of eggs their first year in the Hunt. He watched them race off down the hall and around a corner and, when Sorin got to the same corner, he saw no trace of them.
The witch paused and looked up, noting a stone carved sentinel of an angel on the corner. He set his basket down and pulled out his notebook instead, sketching the location on the map he was documenting of the changing hallways and its patterns. Then he spotted an egg, hidden behind the angel's folded wings.
Blue eyes brightening at his first find, Sorin moved to his tiptoes and tried to reach for the egg, coming up barely too short to snag it from the statue. He looked around for something to use to stand on for better height advantage.
