Davian scowled at the table and groaned again when she pushed his arm, being a little too loud and causing some of the other people in the diner to look over at them. That didn't sound too bad. And he was sure no one would want to hire him. He wouldn't want to hire him. Then he could report to his PO that he'd tried, got nothing but rejections, and he'd be off the hook. He'd be in deep shit if he did get hired and then quit a place. But he'd deal with that when he got to it. That was for worrying about later.
