Jae frowned, "My mother said I need to get a job. I need to be more independent and part of that is earning my own money." It was a strange though, but also overdue. For three hundred years she'd been under her mother's care and basically handed what she needed. What worth ethic she did build came from her studies, not from actual work. She wasn't scared of it though, escape her own fears that came with being around humans, which had come into doubt.
"I won't be able to let you borrow money anymore," Jae clarified further, so he'd understand, "But maybe you can teach dance in town. You like it, and if you teach it, you are doing something you like and are getting paid for it." But she didn't know of any dance studios in town.
