Kaden nodded along when Rob spoke of Mentor responsibilities, confirming his words. It was like being made RAs of the House. It put the Mentors into a position of authority that meant the other students had to follow their orders. It was why it was a position that was taken very seriously by the Academy and only the wisest, most developed students were selected to be House representatives in such a way.
In the case of Rob, Kaden just had enough faith in him that he knew the position would be more to help the half-giant grow up a bit than it made much real-time sense to appoint the ex-troublemaker sometimes-bully into such a position. Kaden's faith had not been let down all year and now Rob was not just making it through to graduation having served the House well, but his grades were up and he stood a very good chance of getting into college.
Needless to say, Kaden was very proud of him.
"How are you finding things, Dana?" Kaden asked as they all sat back down. He gave Rob a nod that he could leave if he wanted, thinking the half-giant would want to get started on his plans for organizing the Easter Egg Hunt. He focused on the nymph. "Is there anything we can do to make you feel more at home?"
