Leon wasn't going to let Andrei run and go lick his wounds. Not this time. He'd clawed the surface and this wasn't over until he could get his answer. Leon was tired of not knowing, of being unsure of where he stood with his own sire. He'd caught a glimpse of what Andrei felt and no amount of masking distrust was going to sway him from the scent.
So when Andrei pushed off and ran, Leon growled and rolled onto his side, toe catching the ground to use as a springboard before he launched after him. As soon as his feet left the ground, he dissolved into mist again and re-solidified ahead of Andrei, slamming into him, bringing him down into a tangle of shrubs and broken branches that bent easily against the durable vampire's bodies.
His prey caught, Leon moved fast, wanting to maintain the upper hand and element of surprise that his mist allowed him, to be the one to pin Andrei this time. Andrei's own lessons to his prodigy were used against him and soon, Leon had his sire trapped to the ground in a lock of arms and legs. Andrei would have to dislocate his own arm to get out of the hold. Leon was sitting on top of him, Andrei held on his belly with his arm trapped behind him, the other pinned down with Leon's other hand. Leon's hips were pressed down, pinning Andrei's to the ground, and his legs had Andrei's locked close together to keep him from getting leverage and tipping them again.
He leaned down, fangs out and hair a tangled mess that he ignored. Leon spoke against Andrei's ear. "You're mine." His hold relaxed just barely, just enough to be felt as he spoke again, placing a tender kiss against Andrei's neck. "And I'm yours."
