It was difficult to explain the way Leon felt their connection opening up, that link getting wider, allowing for more than usual to seep through. When he felt it, he leaned forward, hands resting on his knees as he looked without his physical eyes at Andrei and did some of his own exploring.
The love he could feel, had known existed and had seen and felt it before. He felt it for his sire, too. The kind of love that would make you give up practically everything to be with that person. They both had done that for each other, in a way.
It was the rest of the feelings that Leon had trouble translating, not because he didn't understand them but that he couldn't put a real name on them, recognize them in Andrei until he realized they weren't just brooding inside Andrei in the general sense. They were there, active, and they were directed at him. Directed at him and hiding behind distrust.
In a rush, the anger Leon had been feeling towards Andrei and carefully hidden came pouring to the surface and Leon clenched his jaw and was on his feet, marching towards Andre before he could check himself. Andrei would get the hard edged and more define lines of Leon's own feelings, no longer in check. There was a feeling of insecure doubt in him which had sparked the anger that had originated with the exchange of texts. The doubts were precariously balancing him on the edge of comfortably knowing where he stood with Andrei, safe and at home, protected and protector, and then that wide open place that contained the rest of the world - including Mickey.
"What exactly do you want me to do, Andrei?!" He demanded to know, coming to grip Andrei's shirt tightly and jerk him closer so he couldn't dodge out of the question. "What do you want me to do to prove that I'm not going to leave you? That you can trust me?" Leon brought his face in closer. "Why are you holding all of that back from me?"
