Slowly, Mickey lifted up his foot, going backwards. He hooked his finger in his sock, peeling it off. "But you can't always get what you want." Soon, the other sock followed.
"Now," Mickey said, "if you'd have been a Kitsune, that would've made you impatient. A Ladon would've probably jumped me. And a Hydra... A Hydra would never believe there's something he couldn't have if he set his mind to it." Leon's eyes flashed before Mickey's eyes, until they were replaced by Sorin's. Which were different. Larger. More filled with a fragile hope.
"And a Sphinx would play the game, just like you're doing. Or a Pegasus, a Pegasus would be patient. Now," Mickey sat astride of Sorin, capturing his lips in a hot, quick kiss. "Now," he said, his voice softer, lower, "It's your turn. Question, or a piece of clothing?"
