Finding his center
Who: Oliver and Lilie When: Sunday afternoon Where: Near the woods Ollie had been having a lot of issues lately. Some of his issues were things he was managing to get control of, and some of his issues were newer. The most recent issue was the fact that the girl he loved was letting a vampire he wasn’t entirely sure about trusting bite her. She was letting him drink her blood, and instead of understanding why he was put off by it Emily just got angry at him. Even called him out for the control issues he had been having. One of those times was with Andrei, and to be honest both of them probably needed to let off a bit of steam when that happened. The other time was with Davian. That happened due to a similar issue as this time, him not trusting someone that she was trusting entirely. Even trusting the person to the point of allowing things that just didn’t seem right to happen. Why did she have such an issue with him caring for her? How could it not be affecting him? She basically didn’t trust his judgment, and she got upset when he got a little upset about something she did.
Either way it didn’t matter at the moment. He was supposed to be pushing all of that out of his mind at the moment. It had been bothering him for far too long, and he needed to let it go. He needed to do that so he wouldn’t lose control. He sat under a tree with his legs crossed underneath him, his back straight, his eyes closed, and his hands resting on his knees. He needed to let all of his anger and aggravations go. They were not helpful to him. The distracting thoughts had caused him to get a 90 on a science test. That was unprecedented for him. His test grades and project grades were how he managed to get such good grades despite not wanting to work on homework. He breathed in deeply holding it for a second before breathing back out. This was a moment of peace. He had to understand that things were not completely in his control. Emily was obviously never going to listen to any of his recommendations. He couldn’t help the test grade now that the test was over. He wasn’t going to figure out James unless he made an effort to spend time with him, there was just something about him that Ollie didn’t trust. He had to release his anger, for it would not help him.
After a few minutes the skater boy opened his eyes and leaned back so that he was lying on the ground. He felt better, more in control of himself. He found himself quietly thanking Kaden for helping him the last time he felt these types of feelings. If he hadn’t helped then there was no telling what he would have done over the year. Needless to say he likely would have attacked Davian a few more times.
