After Practice: Thérèse and Davian
"It will take some time," she explained after listening to the entire story. She found it nice to know he's at least apologizing for when he slipped up and cursed, but all and all it seemed his main problem was coming on too strong. "It would also probably be a good idea not to try and push him so much in public." She had found that some of Ambriel's biggest strides had been made when he was one on one with someone else. He would come to a realization then contemplate on it for a while. When confronted publicly he tended to feel as though he had to defend himself against everyone, and this was definitely not the way to get him to feel comfortable with his own emotions; after all, he still didn't think he was supposed to have many of the emotions that he had. "He does not react well to confrontations in public, so until he becomes more comfortable in general just try to be around for him when he needs you. I am sure that if you do that he will reply in kind."
"As for you and your ability to feel these emotions," she knew that bringing up Dallas wouldn't help, nor would it help to bring up Lori; therefore, she just rested with Davian on Valentine's day, "You wouldn't have been able to say what you did if you weren't able to feel love." It was a simple conclusion that would make most people feel better. Sure there were other factors involved when it came to spells, but even those didn't really matter. It was either a truth as it is to the universe or a truth as it is to him. One way or another, it was basically the same.
